I’ve officially and lovingly been able to play my new role as “mom” for three weeks now. The whole adventure from going through pregnancy, experiencing labor, childbirth and learning how to care for a newborn have been incredible, both in beautiful ways and in extremely challenging ways. — In 2013 my husband and I knew we wanted to start a family so when we found out we were pregnant in May we could hardly wait to meet our little man.
Soren was due on February 3rd, 2014 but decided to make a dramatic entrance into the world by arriving 6 days early and during a bad ice/snow storm in Atlanta…if you’re not familiar with Atlanta all you need to know is that the city essentially shuts down at the sight of snow and ice…we’re talking about people being stuck in traffic for 7+ hours trying to get home. Of course, our little bear decided this would be a perfect time to arrive. :) Thankfully, we made it to the hospital safely and we were so thrilled to meet him on January 29th. The day we became parents and the day our lives completely changed.
Soren is a natural in front of the camera and has been such a patient model for me. ;) — I’d like to officially introduce our little man to you: Soren Lind Wallace, born on Wednesday, January 29th at 12:49PM, 7lbs 13oz and 20.5 inches long. We are so excited to be part of the LHS community!
