A Little Hip Sprinkle

Our very own Shipping Assistant, Jennifer, is 27 weeks pregnant with her second bambino, a baby girl!

Her first born is a boy, and with the two babes less than two years apart, she’s still got lots of basics and necessities for this baby. I think it’s pretty common that most people don’t throw full on baby showers for second children, but when it’s a GIRL you absolutely MUST spoil her.

We put together a little bundle of things, bought her a decaf latte and an almond croissant and had a little gift-giving at the office to celebrate. I admit that this was partially a ploy to try to get her to reveal this baby’s name to me (she refuses) but it doesn’t appear that even presents can woo her.

Jennifer is into all things preppy, think Ralph Lauren and everything seersucker. She’s been obsessing over the Anchor print since she saw the first swatch months ago, so I knew she’d need one of our new blankets. I also managed to find some cute Carter’s jammies with anchors and pink! I also snatched up this AMAZING Dream Catcher Baby dress for next summer. Neon pink, yes please!

Gingiber is one of my favorite illustrators, and she makes these precious little pillows. We picked out this sweet little elephant to gift to J.

What are your favorite non-essential things to gift for baby?

I love love love the Gingiber pillow and the nautical blanket! So cute!

Some of my favorite gifts to give that people never register for are taggie blankets, crib shoes or moccasins (Moccs by Robin are my fave) and a monogrammed travel bag for baby!
