Be the Brightest on National Mustard Day

Yellow fans out there, did you know that there is a special day for you to celebrate your love for the color? Yes, you read that right. Every first Saturday of August, since 1991, National Mustard Day is celebrated in high spirits at The Mustard Museum. Because of its awesomeness, in 2010 it was moved to the grander, modern home of the Museum in Downtown Middleton, Wisconsin. Okay, so the day embraces mustard and not specifically the color yellow, but what an awesome chance to celebrate yellow.

At June and January, we love all-things-bright.  In recognition of National Mustard Day, we wanted to share some of our favorite yellow items that are hot right now.

Some of our little ones are heading to school this month.  Check out these super cute, yellow “Bullying Is Junk” shirts.

We always have a special place in our hearts for Etsy shops.  Check out these cute leggings from Hen & Co.

And, keep lil' miss shaded with The Posh Plum's yellow daisy sunhat.

Yellow cuteness overload.

While we may have used National Mustard Day to celebrate yellow, it really is a cool day after all.  If you're in Wisconsin and can hit the festivities at the museum, you can make it a family affair.  About 6,000 mustard lovers gather and raise money for local charities.  There's live music, hot dog giveaways, and FREE MUSTARD!
