September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. It was created by John Baur (Ol' Chumbucket) and Mark Summers (Cap'n Slappy) in 1995. Since the duo jokingly made the day, it has gained a surprisingly large following. During this parodic holiday, people are encouraged to talk, act, or even dress like a pirate.
In light of the occasion, here are two of our favorite sea-related fashions from our friends at The Wishing Elephant.
1. The Littlest Mermaid
This costume is designed for babies up to 18 months, especially those pre-walking little angels. It includes an adorable clamshell bikini pattern over the long-sleeve. The cutest, right? Where's my camera?
2. Fresh seafood - sushi
Baby dudes (and dudettes), fresh from the sea, you'll rock Talk Like a Pirate Day (or upcoming Halloween) as the cutest sushi ever. This onesie comes with flair for days. A perfectly sewn piece of Nigiri.
Are you ready for the Talk Like a Pirate Day, aye? I'm the worst pirate. But kids are the cutest pirates.
