The double-edged sword.

We made it pretty clear this week, that when small businesses and designers ideas are stolen from them, we don't take it lightly.

A long list of some of our friends, and favorite brands are being totally copy-cated by a large company in Korea. Being a small business in this age is a double edged sword -- with success comes a bunch of talentless people who want to claim your ideas as their own, and make money off it. Most small business cannot afford the legal backing that they need against other companies, big or small and it's absolutely heart breaking to see your ideas, designs and collection on someone else's website.

I would love it if you would all help spread the word - and let the world know you respect the integrity of handmade and the people who make it such a beautiful and unique community.
