Ashley’s [MAMA] Style Corner.

Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m the newest member of the J&J Team. You will see a lot of me here on the blog. I have been a J&J customer since 2013 so it was a very natural fit to the join the team in Marketing!

Today, I am so excited to share with you our newest series featuring the new MAMA collection (coming in November!) In these posts I will show you how I style our new MAMA line three different ways. Style and clothing have always been a passion of mine. Growing up I would dedicate Sundays to planning each outfit for every day of the week. In motherhood, I have moved that creativity over to my kids. I love styling my kiddos. If you follow me on instagram you know that already. Now, thanks to our MAMA line I can bring back that part of myself! For this post I will show you how I styled our Onyx Maxi Dress while in NYC on vacation.

My husband and I try to take a vacation without the kids every year. It's taken us two years to get to this one. Parenthood, am I right? Because of that, sleeping in and drinking coffee were priority on this trip to New York. Trust me when I say this, I slept in my maxi almost every single night. It is so crazy comfortable!

Hat // Sunglasses // Sweater // Bag // Shoes

For the day we headed over to DUMBO, so of course we had to stop at the most epic view of the Manhattan Bridge. The amount of walking we did should win us some sort of award. The maxi was such an easy piece to layer or unlayer depending on the weather and going in and out of shops.

Glasses // Jacket // Scarf // Jeans // Shoes // Bag

That night we headed to dinner and ice skating at the Rockefeller Center! I knew it would be too cold to wear the dress down, so I grabbed the bottom and tied it up into a knot on my side. Since the material is so light and flexible it wasn't bulky at all. If I could say one thing about this dress it would be how comfortable it is. Being a mama, even a mama on vacation comfort is key. Knowing that I wasn't sacrificing how pulled together and cute I looked for comfort was everything in this dress! I hope you have enjoyed my first round of Ashley's Mama Style Corner!
